About Pamela
I have lived, and been in business in Orcutt from 1974 until 1990. I moved to Santa Barbara in 1990 for business. Having been in the real estate industry since 1999 with Pitts and Bachmann and then Sotheby’s in Montecito, I knew that Orcutt represented terrific value, great climate and relaxed lifestyle.
After moving here for just the weekends, my goal became to eventually move my business from Montecito back to North County, Orcutt in particular. I felt I could attract my clients in Santa Barbara that wanted to downsize financially, as well as physically, to a place that I love, and thereby continue to serve them well.
When Sotheby’s didn’t want me to leave Montecito I changed brokers to a vibrant and young franchise (NextHome Preferred Properties) with actually better digital resources and a perfect fit for my business goals in this digital age. Today, more than 80% of all home searches begin online. Amazing isn’t it? That certainly doesn’t mean less work for we active agents! It just means we can work more efficiently with more people. That is a good thing for you! Thank goodness for the cell phone and laptop.
